Today myself and Bethan made the short drive to Glen Coe and went along the traverse of the Aonach Eagach ridge. It was a perfect day for it with the weather, with a cool breeze blowing and dry all day. It was a busy day with several other teams making their way along.
All day we had great views to Glen Coe, Rannoch Mor and a glimpse of Skye in the distance. We quickly made our way to the top of the first peak and started our way along the ridge with a quick down climb to start. After a short walking section we reached the main pinnacles and steadily made our way along eating the first of the bilberries that are coming in to season.
A great day out and Bethan’s first taste of a Scottish ridge, the start of many.
