Today Claire and myself headed down Glen Nevis after work for some early season trad. With the wind a bit cold we headed up to High Crag. With the route looking good we geared up and I headed up the first pitch. With a bit of a shake out before the crux I headed up. With a rusty peg where you always want them I headed over the budge onto the slab above towards the first belay. Claire came up next and found it tricky for the first route of the year but made it up. I then headed up the second pitch which was classic Polldubh climbing: a quartz slab with a bit of heather and not much gear. With the light fading and the weather closing in Claire came up to the upper terrace and we headed down with the wind still blowing for some food.
